Top 5 New Teak Products in 2021

Teak Tuning has had a busy year that has been filled with new product launches. If you’re following us on social media or check out the “New” section on the website, you can keep up with the latest product releases. Here are a few of our personal favorites from this year:

Apex Wheels

Each set of Apex Series wheels is designed and made in the USA with premium urethane. This is a custom urethane blend of urethane, and “New Street Style” wheels are currently available in many solid colors, swirls, and Geode editions. 

The New Street Style wheels are the “standard” fingerboard wheels that have the typical size and shape that is seen in fingerboarding. With a 7.7mm diameter and 71D or 77D durometers, these wheels are great for easy riding and doing tricks.

Many of the color releases are limited edition and many never be sold again, so don’t forget to snag a set of your favorite Apex Wheel colorway before it's too late!

Pro Duro Bubble Bushings 

Teak Tuning has been making Bubble Bushings for years, but this year we stepped up the Bubble Bushings line with the new Pro Duro Bubble Bushings. Each set of Pro Duro Bubble Bushings is molded from an ultra-premium silicone material with a consistent shape and hole placement on every single bushing. Pro Duro Bubble Bushings are available in three different durometers (hardnesses):

51A Durometer: Great for those who prefer a super loose feel - The most responsive tuning offered with maximum truck movement and range.

61A Durometer: Great for all ability levels - Very responsive – Allow for extreme truck movement and range.

71A Durometer: Great for those who prefer a tighter feel that allows for crisper movement and tricks - Provide a moderate amount of truck movement and range.

Pro Duro Bubble Bushings are available in solid colors, swirl colors, glitter infused editions, and glow in the dark editions. With our wide selection of colors, you’re sure to find the perfect match for your setup. 

Pro Duro Grip Tape

Pro Duro Fingerboard deck tape is designed using a custom Teak Silicone Polymer Blend that features a completely unique feel, and provides ultimate control and trick performance. Each sheet is made of a custom Teak silicone polymer blend and has a durometer of 41A for a soft and grippy ride. This unique lineup features a variety of solid colors, swirl colorways, glow colors, and even a glitter infused edition! 

Fun fact: Each sheet of Pro Duro Tape matches a set of Pro Duro Bubble Bushings so you can perfectly match your colors and build the ultimate setup!

Poly-Ramps

Each Poly-Ramp is made from a synthetic, stone-like material that is much lighter than concrete, but more durable. The material is more resistant to cracks and breaking compared to actual concrete. The lightweight construction is designed with a low center of gravity to resist tipping.

The Poly-Ramps line currently features a standard straight shape, mellow curved “C” shape, and a mellow “S” curve shape.

Fingerboard Builder Tool 

Since fingerboard hardware is tiny, setting up a complete or making changes to your setup can be challenging for those who are new to fingerboarding, have large or shaky hands, or who need a little extra help. Teak Tuning has created a tool to help assist you when you need a little help with setting your complete.

The Teak Tuning Complete Builder Vise acts as a steady "third hand" to assist you while making tuning or deck modifications, and for building or tearing down complete setups.

The Builder Tool can help you attach your trucks to your board, change your tuning, and change/adjust your wheels.
