Sell Your Product on Teak

Make something for fingerboarding? We want to see it. Teak carries more than fifteen other brands alongside our own. Some of them make things we don't make. Some make them better than we would. If that could be you, pitch us.

This page is for makers and brands who want Teak to carry their product. If you're a shop that wants to stock and resell Teak products, you want the distributor and retailer application instead.

What we look for

We're honest about this: we say no more often than yes, and almost never because something was bad. Usually it's timing, overlap with something we already carry, or quantities that don't work yet.

• It's genuinely good. Not necessarily polished or mass produced. Good.
• It's not something we already have three of. Adding a fourth version of an existing thing helps nobody, including you.
• You can make more of it. If it sells, we'll want more. Tell us honestly what you can produce and how fast.
• You stand behind it. Every product on this site is covered by the Teak Guarantee, so we need a partner who will work with us when something goes wrong.

You don't need to be a company. Several brands we carry started as one person making things in a garage or a basement. A prototype and clear photos are enough to start a conversation.

What happens after you submit

1. We read itA person reads every submission. Not a filter, not a bot.
2. We reply either wayIncluding when the answer is no. A no isn't a verdict on your product, and it isn't permanent.
3. If there's interest, we ask for samplesWe want to handle the thing, ride it, and see how it holds up.
4. We talk numbersPricing, quantities, lead times, and how we'd list it.
5. It goes liveUnder your brand name, with your story attached. We don't white-label other people's work as ours.
