What fingerboard tools do I need?
A two-handle tool kit covers it: tightening locknuts, mounting trucks and general tinkering. Our kits are slightly magnetic for picking up tiny screws and come in a foam-lined case. The Complete Builder Vise holds your board steady while you work.
Do Teak locknuts fit my trucks?
Yes. Our stainless steel locknuts have nylon inserts that stay put, and they fit Tech Deck, Blackriver, Y-Trucks, Dynamic, FlatFace, Broken Knuckle and other standard fingerboard trucks.
How do I put grip tape on a fingerboard?
Peel the backing, line the sheet up over the deck and press it down firmly from the middle out. Then file along the deck edge with a filing board to trim the overhang clean.
