Which Wheel Durometer Should I Use?

In fingerboarding, "durometer" means hardness. A lower durometer number means the wheel has a softer feeling, and higher durometers mean the wheel has a harder and smoother feeling. Our Apex Wheels are made in New York and are available in multiple durometers, shapes, and sizes. 

61D Durometer:

• Urethane material 
• Soft and grippy texture 
• Lowest durometer available for Apex Wheels
• Wide range of size, color, and shape options due to its popularity 
  

65D and 85D Durometer:

• Available for ATP (All Terrain Polymer) Apex wheels
• Due to the material, the wheels feel more slick than traditional urethane wheels
• Great for both indoor and outdoor riding

71D and 77D Durometer:

• Urethane material 
• Harder and smoother feeling when riding
• Wide range of size, color, and shape options due to its popularity

Polished Geode Series:

• Polished urethane 
• Due to the polishing and finishing, these wheels feel harder and smoother than other fingerboard wheels with a similar durometer
