BLEM Session x Teak obstacles are fully functional, but have a minor imperfection. Obstacles may have been hit a little too hard by the sander, have a small gap in a seam, or contain similar small flaws.
These Blems are the perfect base for stickers or a DIY project, or for just being enjoyed as is. FINAL SALE: blems cannot be returned or exchanged.
A Baltic birch fingerboard bank ramp with a grindable pole spine along the top edge, 11 3/4 inches long and 3 1/2 inches tall, capped with matte teal acrylic.
The Polebank XL is not a flat bank. Roll up the face, pop into the pole, or pivot off the peak, and the acrylic stripe along the spine gives you a fast locked in slide instead of the dead stop bare plywood hands you. At 7 1/8 inches wide the face takes a straight approach or a carve in at an angle, which is what makes it link into a run instead of ending one.
Includes: 1 Polebank XL (blem), fully assembled. Fingerboard not included.
The Build
Every Session x Teak piece starts as a design our own crew rides before it goes into production. We laser cut the parts from high grade Baltic birch plywood, glue and assemble them by hand, then hand sand every edge until the lips and landings feel finished. Every obstacle is handcrafted start to finish in our Rochester, NY shop. Session Fingerboards is part of the Teak Tuning family, and the Session x Teak collaboration line is where our fingerboarding obstacles come from.
Materials and Wear
Baltic birch body with an acrylic capped spine and stainless steel hardware. The acrylic scuffs in as you session it and only improves the slide. Wipe the stripe with a dry cloth and keep solvents away from the acrylic.
Care
Keep it dry and indoors. Plywood swells if it sits in moisture, so keep it off damp surfaces and wipe it with a dry cloth. Use a dry cloth on the acrylic and skip solvents and polish, they haze the finish.
Blem Condition
This is a blem: fully functional, with a minor cosmetic imperfection such as an over-sanded edge, a small gap in a seam, or a similar small flaw. Blems are sold as-is at a discount and are FINAL SALE, so they cannot be returned or exchanged.
Who makes Session x Teak obstacles?
Session Fingerboards is part of the Teak Tuning family, established in 2025. Every piece in the line is designed, laser cut, glued, and hand sanded start to finish in our Rochester, NY shop.
Is it solid wood?
The body is high grade Baltic birch plywood, laser cut and glued up in house. It's real wood all the way through, not a printed plastic shell, so the faces hold their shape session after session.
What makes the spine grindable?
The peak carries a pole spine with a matte teal acrylic stripe along it, so slides lock in and run fast instead of dying the way they do on bare plywood.
Does it fit all fingerboards?
Yes. These are open riding surfaces scaled for standard fingerboards, so deck width doesn't matter: narrow old school decks, 32mm and 34mm standards, and 36mm and wider shapes all ride the same obstacles.
How does it wear over time?
Each material breaks in its own way. Bare birch scuffs and burnishes darker where you ride it, acrylic scuffs in and slides faster, and stainless steel polishes where you grind. All of it is wear, not damage, and the obstacle rides better for it.
Do I need to assemble anything?
No. Every obstacle ships fully assembled and padded from our Rochester, NY shop. Unbox it and ride.
Can I return a blem?
No. Blems are sold as-is at a discount and are final sale. Every blem is fully functional, and the flaw is cosmetic only.

The $50 grab bag is worth it and got more than what I paid . I went ahead and got a $100 one too and teak did not miss and the customer service was top tier for the $100 grab bag because I had an issue with a truck and deck and they are sending me replacements
The 2 tone color is a nice touch . Plan to set it up with pink glow wheels and white trucks
I got more than $100 in value so definitely worth getting the mystery grab bags
Awesome deck and made for a good cause.
