We took all the feedback from the first release and have worked to make these even better. Apex wheels now include a Bearing Pocket - a full custom bearing lock that prevents the bearing from coming out except while using a bearing press. Additionally, we’ve further tweaked our custom bearings to provide even more spin – and with the ability to full tighten the locknut down, these wheels spin forever.
Set of four Apex Series, New Street Style Fingerboard Wheels in "Honey".
The New Street Style 61D wheels are our softest wheels yet, and are equivalent to 101A hardness. The feel of these wheels are very similar to real skateboard wheels. Measuring 7.7mm in diameter and 4.9mm wide, these wheels are great for easy riding and doing tricks on all kinds of surfaces.
These wheels are designed and made in the USA using a premium quality, custom Teak blended urethane. Each wheel is casted and cut in New York. Colors are handmixed and may vary slightly between sets. Many fingerboarders love the squeak sound that urethane wheels make as you powerslide across a surface or do a sharp turn.
Perfect for riders of all skill levels. Includes a free Teak Tuning sticker.
Storage tube cap color may vary.
Solid Wheels as usual.
i have an old set of these from about 5 years ago, still work great, still FEEL great.
Spins forevee
I really like the color and function as needed, like the silver screws. They do feel like you have more pop with them.
2nd pair from these guys and i really dig these trucks. They are on the heavy side but have a nice feel and sound.
Wheels are great but soon after testing I started getting the bearing click/noise that doesn't sound like a proper setup. I dunno if it's worth the time and shipment to return them. I have purchased multiple sets of wheels from teak without this issue
This deck is super fun! It's kinda now my main outdoor setup. Nice to have wood fingerboards in OG 29mm options. I grew up with 26mm techdecks, found fingerboarding again back when 29mm was the norm. Everyone went to 32m+ after that it's 50+ and well 29 makes me feel young again 🤣🤘
